Merry Christmas, not Happy Holidays
By: Matthew Evers
I just wanted to jump on and say Merry Christmas to everyone.
Though I don’t want to rant about the liberals trying to deface Christmas, I will say I am glad most places of business went back to “Merry Christmas” this year. I’m not saying other religions should be disrespected or forgotten in America. But Christianity is what this country was founded upon, with a number of the “Founding Fathers” knowing the Bible by heart. We could debate all day about these guy’s morality and slavery when talking about their religion. I’m not saying they were saints. I’m saying the majority of this country is Christian and it’s the religion we have practiced for the last couple hundred years.
So let people practice their religion, whatever it maybe. But let us Americans have Christmas.
Merry Christmas.
